AZSC 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5k Run / Walk

When:

• 7:30am - 12:00pm

• Freestone Park (Gilbert, AZ)

Cost:

• 1 Mile Walk - $10
• 5k Run Child - $10
• 5K Run Adult - $20

• 5k Runners will recieve a short sleeve shirt, water bottle and other special gifts
• Strollers Welcome!
• Top 3 finishers recieve 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize

Congratulations on a great weekend of soccer. The following are a quick glimpse at our results.

As Season II of the Competitive season begins, our Coaching Directors are busy preparing not only for the sessions and games in the near future. They are also getting prepared for Tryouts for the next season. Arizona Soccer Club has been informed by Tara Koleski (Director of Coaching), that we will have a top tier talent joining our coaching staff at tryouts and will be on the staff full time starting next season.

Dang Pibulvech is Internationally acclaimed for his past and present work. Dang has established himself as an extremely valuable assett to the soccer community.

"Pibulvech, 49, is one of the all-time winningest women's soccer coaches in NCAA history. He ranks 18th on the NCAA's list for career victories with a record of 197-155-23 in 20 seasons as a head coach. During his collegiate career, Pibulvech led his teams to six NCAA Final Four appearances, nine NCAA Tournaments and has coached 25 Division I All-Americans. Pibulvech was a three-time West Region and two-time Central Region Coach of the Year as awarded by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)."

It is with great pride and pleasure that we congratulate 5 of our Thunder Girls who were on the Region IV championship team this month. 18 of the top players from our state competed in the Olympic development program for the u-13 age group, Beating Hawaii, Nevada, Alaska and Tied Cal North for the Championship. Also congratulations to Sebrina Rodriguez and LaMaya Williams for taking 2nd place in the Region IV championships with the 97 Arizona team. They were amongst the top 18 in the u-15 age group.

Arizona Soccer Club Leadership would like to extend a hearty congratulations to 2 of our amazing athletes. Lauren Crenshaw and Lamaya Williams both made Arizona 1st Team All Tournament during ODP Regional Championships. This is a huge accomplishment for all parties invovled.
